Harry wad still in hospital, so we caught the train nice and early to Manchester airport.

Average fry up at Milano Trattoria in Manchester Airport
The Alps
Super king bed at Hotel Canova, we were on the top with a balcony which was nice
Start of the food tour. Slow food branded drinks. Really good. Just us and Americans on the trip. Nice old couple from San Diego (she was pushy like Jeanette).
Crunchy based Romana pizza. One without cheese was actually very good (called Marinara)
Navigli Grand Canal
Polenta with gorgonzola, a bit like grits. Raw beef was really good and well seasoned and aslo had good olive oil
Navigli Canal
Chickpea flour based pancake with our guide Chiara
Don't stop, Goku!
Old gateway to Milan
Roman Columns
Part of a Roman tower inside Pane Vino (Daddy's heels were being cut badly at this point by heel grips. He walked with just his socks at this point)
Deconstructed Tiramisu from Mascherpa. Cream was amazing- made with mascapone, eggs (white and yolk), sugar and some cream
